Pastor Kirk Mellen

Pastor Mellen began his ministry as pastor of Corinth Baptist Church on December 9, 2001. He was born and raised in a Christian home and at the age of thirteen placed his faith in Christ as his personal Savior. While a senior in high school he surrendered his life to the Lord to serve Him in whatever capacity the Lord might direct. He soon began to understand God’s calling upon his life to serve Him in the ministry of the church. Pastor Mellen received his ministerial training from Hyles Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. He was ordained to the pastorate by Lifegate Baptist Church of Ellisville, MO in October of 1993, and served in the capacity of assistant pastor until accepting the call as pastor of CBC Corinth in 2001.

Pastor Mellen and his wife Terrica were married in 1989 and have five children: Brittany, Donovan, Elaina, Lauren, and Everett.

Secretary Lorna Speed

Lorna grew up in Corinth and has attended Corinth Baptist Church since childhood, with the exception of 14 years she spent in Illinois.

Lorna has been the Church Clerk for 27 years, the secretary for 14 years, and the organist for approximately 25 years.
